Job Description

This role assists with Cybersecurity initiatives in risk, product security, or security operations. This challenging position will work closely across multiple departments and 3rd Party Vendors to ensure baseline security for the organization.

Job Duties

  • Administer and document cybersecurity standards to control system access.
  • Perform regular security audits to evaluate system security configurations.
  • Identify potential security risks and inform senior team members and management of potential impact.
  • Assist in reviewing continuous compliance with regulations that govern data security and privacy.
  • Assist in annual third-party audits and third-party vendor evaluations.
  • Participate in meetings to gather evidence supporting audit requirements.
  • Conduct testing and reviews of company products.
  • Assist development with identifying and tracking product vulnerabilities.
  • Assist with the management of application security scanning tools.
  • Assist with data pulls for reporting product security metrics.
  • Conduct basic testing and vulnerability assessments of applications, operating systems, and networks.
  • Triage user tickets and policy exception requests.
  • Assist with the response to security events.
  • Keep current with emerging threats.
  • Assist with the development and distribution of cybersecurity training to end

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technology field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of professional cybersecurity experience.
  • Some professional experience in application security programming.
  • Some professional experience with interception proxies.
  • Some professional experience in penetration testing.
  • Proficient with active directory, firewalls, and endpoint security tools.
  • Proficient with security control frameworks.
  • Knowledge of commonly used ports.
  • Familiar with vulnerability management lifecycle.
  • Self-motivated, able to prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
  • Great oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Security certifications a plus.
