(MTSI) is seeking a multi-disciplined, team oriented, and self-motivated, Security Administrator desiring to expand and advance their security career as a member of the MTSI Alexandria Industrial Security Team providing security program administration, oversight, and compliance as a Cleared Defense Contractor (CDC) under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).

  • Provide a wide variety of security administrative and operational support duties as part of Security Operations (SECOPS) ensuring proper administration and compliance of the Industrial Security program in accordance with MTSI Security Policies, Processes, and Procedures; 32 Code of Federal Regulation Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM); Director of National Intelligence Directives; DoD Manual 5205.07; and other applicable regulations, guidelines, and procedures. Ensure overall proper handling, safeguarding and accountability of National Security information.
  • This position is customer service oriented requiring coordination across company departments and direct interaction with employees as well as government customers, vendors, and other contractor personnel.
  • Must be detailed orientated and a proactive self-starter able to work productively in a team environment as well as independently. Requires the desire to learn and flexibility to adapt to mission critical requirements.
  • Document and Asset Controls: Maintain control, accountability, and inventory of classified documents and secure equipment. Process, prepare, and facilitate in-coming & out-going classified transmissions and shipments for hand carry and postal shipment (requires periodic short-distance local travel). Maintain secure containers, locks, and combinations.
  • Facility and Physical Security: Support day-to-day secure facility administration to include managing access controls, badging, and intrusion detection systems. Assist in secure area physical configuration, construction, and accreditation. Contribute to the development of Open Storage Area Checklists, Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC), and other physical security accreditation processes and documentation.
  • Security Operations Support: Assist in the development and maintenance of security operations processes and procedures. Assist in maintaining security information management systems, security program records, facility self-inspections, compliance assessment records, data calls, etc.
  • Contract Security Administration: Maintain tracking and accountability, and assist in the review and security compliance, of prime and subcontract procurement agreements; Performance Work Statements (PWS)/Statements of Work (SOW); Contract Security Classification Specifications (i.e., DD Form 254, etc.); and other applicable security requirements & documentation in support of contracts requiring access to classified information. Validate supplier facility clearance (FCL) status via the National Industrial Security System (NISS) and assist in generating, coordinating, and maintaining subcontract DD Forms 254 for the flow-down of access to classified information in support of applicable subcontracts.
  • Personnel Security: Provide occasional secondary support to the Personnel Security (PERSEC) team. Assist in processing personnel fingerprints, in-coming & out-going Visit Authorization Requests, and other PERSEC items as required.
  • Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) Program: Assist in providing Initial and Refresher Security training; Counterintelligence Awareness; Operations Security (OPSEC), and other special briefings as applicable.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of company proprietary and personally identifiable information (PII)
  • Observe all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the company

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma and 3 – 5 years of Security related experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of security principles and government security regulations (i.e., 32 CFR Part 117 “NISPOM”, etc.)
  • Familiarity with: DCSA Portal (NISP Central Access Information Security Systems – NCAISS); National Industrial Security System (NISS); Defense Industrial Security Systems (DISS); Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT); Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) System
  • Preferred experiences in classified document control, physical security, and classified contract administration (Contract Security Classification Specifications; DD Form 254).
  • US citizen
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
