PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Ariba is looking for a Scrum Master with a passion for guiding and coaching the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practice and principles to deliver high-quality software solutions. As a Scrum Master, you are responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • Facilitates and support all scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective
  • Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the team
  • Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders to influence and drive decision making and support team
  • Experience with agile product development
  • Demonstrate and review development deliverables with senior leadership and product management
  • Multi-tasking - Ability to manage multiple tasks and objectives simultaneously.
  • Composure under Pressure – Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ensure delivered functionality meets the requirements of external and internal stakeholders.


EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security or related field
  • 4+ years professional experience as Scrum Master
  • Previous experience working in a security-related software development effort is a plus
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Must be able to work on-site in Palo Alto, CA
  • SAP is not providing relocation assistance for this position
