What You’ll Do

• Serving as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments; communicating with other management members, developers, product managers and technical support specialists on product issues affecting the Development Team

• Tracking and communicating team velocity and sprint/release progress

• Maintaining process documentation and ensuring that the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and visibility

• Assisting Product Owner with a backlog maintenance, internal and external communication, improvement of transparency and disseminating information

• Assisting with prioritization and resolution of defects/impediments

• Assisting team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition

• Identifying and removing impediments and preventing distractions

• Providing coaching to SMIs and other associates

What You’ll Bring

• Should have worked on one or more end-to-end Appian BPM implementation (Design/Develop/Deploy/Package).

• 3-5 years of experience leading a scrum team in a software development company

• Background and experience in project management

• Possessing a technical background

• You’ll interface heavily with our software engineers and need to speak their language

• Experience working in complex, multi-project multi-team environments with a large number of stakeholders

• Good working knowledge of Jira software

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is an asset.
