Scientist Membrane Proteins

We have an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to join as a Scientist in Dr. Ji Sun’s group in the Structural Biology Department. Dr. Sun's laboratory will focus on the structure and function of important membrane proteins and protein complexes. For more details about Dr. Sun’s previous research, please check his publications. In this position, you will

• design and perform complex experiments and analyze data independently.
• develop new experimental procedures and publish research results
• train and supervise lab members on relevant laboratory procedures and techniques.
• assist with day-to-day operation of the lab

Strong background in structure biology, biochemistry or related fields and training in cryo-EM or X-ray crystallography and membrane protein biology preferred.

• 
  Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific area is required.

• 
  Seven (7) years of relevant post-degree work experience is required
• Five (5) years of relevant post-degree work experience is required with a Master's degree
• Three (3) years of relevant post-degree work experience is required with a PhD
