Job Description: The SAP FICO Architect will be responsible for the following:
  • Work with the key finance related stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on SAP system solutions and processes
  • Work with business users and other assigned associates to gather and document business requirements, analyze, design, configure, test, document and deploy user friendly solutions in the SAP FICO functional area
  • Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written and work with technical resources to ensure the solution meets the needs of the business
  • Challenge current ways of work to drive system efficiencies and optimizations wherever possible to meet business needs
  • Provide day-to-day support for issues that affect the daily operation of the Finance and Controlling area of SAP and any related third-party integrations including but not limited to: General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Cash Management, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Product costing and Management Accounting
  • Communicate work and project status as required
  • Resolve support issues in a timely manner
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Information Technology
  • Minimum of five plus years of hands-on experience in SAP Finance & Controlling in SAP ECC (Preference for 10+ years)
  • FICO implementation experience with 2 or more projects
  • A demonstrated understanding of financial business processes and associated integration areas.
  • This role requires a combination of Finance and Accounting business process knowledge and technology expertise
  • Understanding of SAP CO-PA (Profitability Analysis) is a plus
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple and changing priorities

Note that the SAP FICO Architect role will have a hybrid schedule between remote and our corporate offices in northwest Atlanta (I75N / I285 interchange area).
