SAP-BPC Principal Analyst

Your Key Responsibilities Would Include:

The BPC Functional Analyst will provide analytical and system support to the Finance, Accounting, Treasury, IT teams and Senior Management. This position is responsible for administering, maintaining, supporting and managing SAP BPC Planning/Forecasting and Consolidation Process. Additionally, the role is responsible for;

• Ownership of BPC Models
• Maintain the SAP BPC application components (applications sets, dimensions, reports, script logic etc.) to support management reporting, forecasting and planning needs
• Manage entire relationship between BW warehouse and BPC front end and back end
• Travel to meet with Finance stakeholders when necessary

Minimum Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Required strong experience and Configuration knowledge of SAP BPC 10.1/11/BW4/HANA to support Planning/Budgeting/Forecasting and Consolidation process
• Strong Modeling Knowledge of Information Models like Attribute Views, Analytic Views and Calculation Views (SAP HANA Design Studio modeling)
• Must have experience in validating the extraction/Transformation objects like Data sources, ABAP Function modules, BW transformations and data extraction with ERP/BW and virtual providers ((DSO / ADSO / Info-providers).
• Sprint testing and regression testing and Create test scenarios for various models for Functional and User Acceptance Testing for all planning models and Consolidation.
• Support system based monthly/quarterly activities: Responsible for updating and supporting all hierarchy updates, master data loads, close validation reporting, security controls, and performance tuning.
• Work with business application owners and the Business Intelligence group to automate and enhance reports and facilitate system improvements.
• Work closely with Corporate Finance and FP&A team on the financial planning/forecasting/reporting systems administration, processes and maintenance
• Will interface with all levels of the Finance community including senior controllers, Operational VPs, etc.
• This will require expertise using EPM formulas, BADI, script logic, member formulas and excel calculations, Works status, BPF’s, Input Forms and Reports as required
• Experience in financial consolidation skills such as Inter-company, Elimination, Currency translation, and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of R/3-ECC Extraction in the areas of Finance, Supply Chain, SD/MM/PP -Logistics, and HR
• Strong technical experience to handle BPC/BI technical objects, environments build, transports, etc.
• Organizing the BPC technical objects into transport requests and experience with BPC transport tables
• Maintenance of BPC system/ schedule jobs for performance improvement
• Train users, provide financial analysis, and troubleshoot data discrepancies

• BS/MS in Finance or related field

• At least 8-10 years of SAP BPC 10/10.1/11.0 BW4HANA application design and development experience including 2-3 full life cycle implementation projects.
• Must have strong accounting and financial process background.
• Experience and knowledge in supporting planning models like Consolidated P&L, Revenue Planning, CAPEX, OPEX and Head Count and Consolidation.
• Must have strong experience of SAP Reporting Tools – Analysis for Office
• Experience with Jira and Agile Project Development methodology will be preferred
• Ability to develop strong functional specifications for complex requirements
• Ability to read ABAP code, design user-exits, workflow, BADIs and enhancements
• Ability to handle multiple issues/tasks simultaneously
• Ability to manage helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
• Ability to travel to local or international Infinera locations when needed
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work with Microsoft PowerPoint, Visio and Project
