At Molex, the Digital Team partners with Sales business leaders across the company to create solutions for better customer experience, efficiency, and cutting edge technology solutions to empower Sales and our B2B customers.

The Salesforce Solution Architect will provide thought-leadership in Salesforce IT architecture, strategy & planning. Defines roadmaps to bridge the gap from current to future state for business, information, and technology capabilities. Leads/Mentors/Guides development strategy and other developers. Communicate and collaborate with Enterprise Architect team. This role will also pay an instrumental role in the establishment, growth, and governance of the Salesforce platform at Molex

What You Will Do In Your Role

  • Salesforce Solution Architecture and Strategy
  • Application Design and Integration for End-to-End processes
  • Define the Salesforce Technical Roadmap in collaboration with the stakeholders
  • Research, identify, and recommend industry best practices for solving business and technology problems
  • Enforce Salesforce Standards, Patterns and Best Practices
  • Provide recommendations to improve functional, technical, and architectural designs
  • Collaborate with other technology systems (e.g., ERPs, Data warehouse, third party applications) and team leads to identify optimal solutions that align system / architecture roadmaps to overarching data strategy, sales enablement, value impact to customer, and product goals.

The Experience You Will Bring Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems or 7 years of professional experience in lieu of a degree
  • 4+ years of experience in design, development, documenting, testing, and debugging of new and existing software systems
  • 4 years’ experience in: Salesforce.com platform, Apex, Visualforce, and Metadata Deployment Tools, APIs, and custom development
  • Experience in leading technical staff and coordinating work across multiple technology teams
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Salesforce application architecture, Governor’s limit, and development components such as Visual Force, SOQL, Apex Classes and Triggers, JQuery, APIs, Process Builder, Approval process, etc.
  • Experience using tools for source control and continuous integration/deployment such as Git, AutoRabit.
  • Experience with service/microservices based integrations
  • Experience communicating with all levels of the organization, including management and end-users.
  • Experience acting as a "Big Picture" thinker by maintaining perspective and establishing context. Involves being able to recognize patterns and predict outcomes and leverage them to redirect personal and/or teamwork effort in the optimal direction

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Salesforce Certifications
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP preferably SAP
  • Experience with iPaaS platforms preferably Mulesoft
  • Experience with modern Authentication and Authorization protocols (PingID, AWS Cognito)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools, JIRA preferred

For this role, we anticipate paying $140,000 - $195,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
