Sales Go-to-Market Strategy Director


Key member of Insight’s WW Sales Ops team responsible for global strategy and GTM design to drive Insight’s transformation to a services leader

Role & Responsibilities include


  • Develop and own rigor-based segmentation, roles, coverage and territory planning
  • Bring in thought leadership on effective methodologies for segmentation, coverage models, sales motion, R&R and capacity, territory and compensation design
  • Develop and own RAD approach for account transitions
  • Develop and own account management efforts (account planning, territory planning)
  • Work closely with BI and Analytics team to develop a single source of accounts to aid in development of various GTM strategies
  • Evaluate existing GTM models and craft new ones to accelerate growth, drive efficiency and improve competitive advantage for all markets that we play in
  • Accelerate SaaS-based GTM transformation
  • Lead cross functional teams to deliver timely business insights and recommendations on key strategic questions
  • Participate in the global or/and regional annual planning activities to operationalize GTM initiatives and identify/mitigate risk
  • Direct the efforts of cross functional teams to achieve strategic and end-to-end operational objectives of the group


Who You Are


  • 10 years experience in a combination of sales strategy, sales planning operations, management consulting or investment banking
  • Top tier BA/BS; MBA a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to draw relevant business conclusions based on multiple data inputs, paint the big picture and build credible independent recommendations
  • Strong communications & influencing skills, experience presenting & working with partners at all levels, producing exec level content and conducting exec conversations
  • Demonstrated thought leadership, teamwork, and influencing skills – grows with driving
  • Understanding of SaaS business model and key data points for running a healthy portfolio of SaaS-based offers
  • Channel Sales knowledge including resell, SI, MSP, and Service Provider as a channel motions
  • Drive to success in a highly interdependent, collaborative, complex environment
  • Executive-level communication skills, both written and with PowerPoint.
