We challenge you as a Demo Specialist to join our Diagnostic Imaging Sales Support team. You will lead or facilitate MR product demonstrations and Philips message in a variety of settings: customer demo/presentations, clinical site visits, trade shows and ‘road shows’. You will use your strong clinical acumen and partner with our sales teams to analyze customer equipment and workflow requirements and then deliver demos and site visits that align with these requirements.

In addition, you will work with our site visit host customers to develop and maintain their sites so they deliver exceptional visit experiences which produce superior customer satisfaction scores and high win rates.

The ideal candidate will reside in the Northeast, but we will also consider candidates as far West as Chicago, St. Louis and Nashville. Must live near a major airport and be willing to travel nationally.

You are responsible for

  • Develop specific expertise in multiple modalities and develop “hybrid” capabilities to demonstrate and assist with integrated demos across multiple Business Units.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of advanced tools specific to assigned clinical modalities
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of all Philips competitive advantages and disadvantages for your assigned modality
  • Engage and analyze the customer to draw out needs and decision drivers (ie image quality, workflow efficiency, etc) and then adjust product demo and site visit to highlight the Philips solution (shortest path to the best care) that addresses the requirements
  • Demonstrate ability to articulate and sell the Philips solution: product, applications, software, etc
  • Responsible for planning site visits to assigned show sites: consultation with sales on customer needs; scheduling with host site; adhering to all site required compliance mandates; visit agenda, customer name badge and information packet development
  • Planning a visit could include arranging for a dinner event with both host and visiting customers on the night before the site visit
  • Create host customer profiles and travel documents
  • Prepare customer site day prior to the visit: ensure there are excellent clinical images available specific to visiting customer needs; equipment is in full working order and room and equipment is clean and customer ready
  • Coach the site visit host customer to deliver a message and demo consistent with Philips marketing message.
  • Facilitate reference phone calls into show sites as needed
  • Track visits, win/loss/pending and customer surveys and prepare monthly report
  • Recommend and facilitate improvements to make host sites more “successful” including adoption concerns
  • Meet with host customers along with Site Visit Program Manager as needed
  • Attend Quick Market Intelligence calls and other training as assigned
  • Support proof point and other image collection as needed
  • Deliver training to sales teams as needed
  • Participate in sales calls/meetings on a regular basis
  • Deliver and facilitate webex demonstrations and meetings
  • Provide pilot program support for Imaging Informatics
  • Understanding of all Philips equipment installed at assigned sites and assume support role for non-assigned modality site visits as needed
  • Address and escalate host site issues following through to resolution
  • Update and utilize One Source, Sales Force and Briefing Edge with required information
  • Build strong collaborative relationships with Sales Specialists and Marketing

You are a part of

You will report directly to the Snr Manager of Clinical Sales Support. This is a field based position and the candidate must be available to support visits at our host sites Monday through Friday with ability to travel 80% of the time.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Equipment Sales, Marketing or Clinical Education of MR
  • ARRT Advanced Certification in assigned clinical modality
  • Clinical knowledge of Philips Products
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • High energy, positive attitude, team player with strong work ethic, ‘multi-tasking’ skills, self-starter with professional approach to solving problems in a demanding environment
  • Ability to appropriately set priorities, independently make decisions and resolve conflicts
