Royalties Associate (Bilingual Spanish)

As the Royalties Associate, you will be responsible for assisting with the administration and processing of Spanish royalty statements, including creating statement headers, loading electronic files, mapping titles to works in our publishing database, and assisting in areas of copyright claims/conflicts with DSPs, PROs, sub-publishers, and YouTube. Other duties may include communicating with Spanish speaking clients via email and phone, assisting with song licensing opportunities, and other assignments as designated by supervisor.Responsibilities:What you'll do:

• Map Spanish royalty lines from incoming electronic statement interfaces to appropriate works in the iMaestro publishing database
• Manage W-9/W8BEN and ACH/Wire updates including linking forms and updating client fields in iMaestro and liaising with Finance department to ensure vendor account is updated.
• Client maintenance in iMaestro including address updates, special handling notes, and coding.
• Manage client inquiries via email in Spanish including speaking with clients on the phone as needed, researching problems and routing questions to appropriate departments.
• General Royalty problem research & resolution, as assigned by supervisor
• Scan, log, and file physical statements for archiving.
• Liaise with other departments to facilitate workflow (retrieve archived statements, research source statements, etc.)
• Handle copyright claims/conflicts with PROs, DSPs, Sub-Publishers, YouTube, etc. and update iMaestro system as needed.
• Assist with song licensing opportunities (synch, mechanical, etc.)
• Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:What you'll need to succeed:

• Must be able to speak, read, and write Spanish. REQUIRED.
• Previous royalties experience and familiarity with Vistex iMaestro preferred
• 1-2 years’ publishing experience required
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent math skills
• Strong data entry skills with high degree of accuracy
• Strong computer skills; especially Microsoft Excel program.
• Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
