Roofer/Roof Laborer

Job Responsibilities

• Re-Roofs, Roof Repair, Framing, and general construction.
• Installation of tile, shingle, metal, roof coating, torch down roofs.
• Ability to adapt to the shifts of weather seasons
• Inspect roofs when a customer wants a routine examination done, and create comprehensive reports for any problem areas and potential solutions
• Establish scaffolding and other pieces of safety equipment, and ensure everyone on the worksite is always working in a safe, secure manner
• Install proper insulation in the attic area, and tear out any old insulation that does not meet current state code guidelines
• Install partially overlapping layers of material over roof insulation surfaces, determining distance of roofing material overlap using chalk lines, gauges on shingling hatchets, or lines on shingles
• Will provide tools if needed

Job Skills & Qualifications: Certification in roofing (Preferred) At least 18 years old

• Able to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation

Preferred: Knowledge of different types of roofing systems * Experience working as a roofer (preferred)

• Dependable people needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

• Alamogordo, NM: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Construction: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
