  • ER RN- Mid Shifts Full-Time
    • The Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room oversees and directs the care of all patients presented to the Emergency Department. The RN serves as the primary nurse leading the collaboration of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Oversees and directs the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients. Within the first year the RN will have gained basic emergency and emergency department pathways, knowledge, and skill sets. When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required) (BSN preferred)

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
  • Utah RN License in this state or RN Compact license (required)
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification preferred. Must obtain BLS or BCLS within 30 days of hire and maintain certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification preferred. Must obtain ALS or ACLS within 30 days of hire and maintain certification.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course (PALS) and Certification preferred. Must obtain PALS within 6 months of hire and maintain certification.
  • Current TNCC preferred.
  • Highest Education Proof of Diploma or Transcript within 30 days of hire (for istat requirement)

EXPERIENCE:
  • One-year experience in emergent care (preferred) or one (1) year of acute/critical care nursing experience preferred.
