Job Description

Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing and 100% employee-owned company, is seeking an RF Radar Systems Engineer to provide full-time expertise on Airborne Radar (GEOINT) within Army G2. This position will work alongside other SETAs, Senior SIGINT SMEs, Data Scientists, Systems Engineers, and Intelligence Professionals to provide strategic, technical, and operational analysis culminating in the form of graphical visualizations, analytical reports, and database applications to inform Senior Leader decisions. The successful candidate is someone who thrives in a fast pace environment and is a proven self-starter, capable of working independently and with a team. The candidate will serve in a SETA capacity as a Senior Radar Engineer in the fields of airborne surveillance and tactical Radar systems. The chosen candidate will Initiate, manage, mentor, coordinate and engineer complex and highly advanced Radar systems analyses; as well as provide detailed analysis on existing and emerging Airborne Radar capabilities focused on AESA, SAR, MTI, GMTI, ISAR, and DMTI (as required). This position will advise when advanced techniques such as machine learning, adaptive signal processing, image processing and understanding, multiple hypothesis tracking, distributed resource management, graph-based methods, and data fusion can and should be leveraged to enhance capabilities. Candidates must be able to travel CONUS and OCONUS.

Required Experience
  • Requires a BS degree with 12+ years of directly related experience; an MS degree with 10+ years of directly related experience; or a PhD with 8+ years of directly related experience

Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Radar SETA working within the Intelligence Community or DoD
  • Past performance working with AESA Radars, Advanced Airborne Sensors, Long Range Radar, and High-Resolution Synthetic Aperture Radars
  • Experience developing and conducting briefings for senior level customer stakeholders
  • Experience with Systems Engineering and all related functional disciplines, with an understanding of Model Based-Systems Engineering
  • Demonstrated technical leadership in designing or integrating Airborne radars and an understanding of the unique limitations involved with integrating Radars into aircraft
  • Significant technical experience working with Radar systems and generating detailed analysis
