About this position

The Revenue Cycle Technical Coordinator, sharing in the performance of the team’s work, provides the efficient and effective coordination between IT and Operational Owners. These services and process include: evaluation of revenue cycle initiatives, gathering of required information, technical cross collaboration across projects, teams and operations. The technical coordinator is responsible for ensuring the Epic Revenue Cycle teams have the necessary information from operations to complete build requests, ensures timelines are met, and provides status updates to IT Manager. The technical coordinator partners with IT leadership, project managers and business relationship managers to deliver on the intake, assessment and execution of approved projects as assigned. The technical coordinator promotes a culture of teamwork, collaboration, trust and engagement.


What we’ll expect from you
    Accountabilities:
  • Coordinate work on Revenue Cycle requests and facilitate issue resolution across disparate teams and operations in accordance with departmental quality management standards.
  • Assists team members with application build and configuration and plans for transition to application ongoing support.
  • Proactively communicate issue and project statuses to leadership and team members as appropriate.
  • Partner with Team Lead(s) on comprehensive testing scripts for assigned applications to ensure thorough testing.
  • Lead the tracking and resolution of issues that arise during unit and integrated testing.
  • Assist Team Lead(s) with needed resources for implementations and ensure resources are identified and scheduled, escalating to leadership when necessary.
  • Assist leadership in performing root-cause analysis for production issues, system failures and deviations from established IT processes.
  • Leads small to medium sized projects for assigned applications that may involve multiple work teams.
  • Assists Team Lead(s) on projects assessment efforts to ensure accurate information is provided to leadership, ensuring appropriate subject matter experts are engaged as needed.
  • Participates in downtime, communication and recovery processes for application environments.
  • Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.

  • BA/BS in information technology, healthcare or related business
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • At least 7 years of experience in a healthcare related organization, using information technology in daily operations
  • Current Epic Admin Certification in one or more Revenue Cycle modules (Cadence, Prelude or Grand Central)
  • Demonstrated ability to solve large, complex problems that span multiple disciplines.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor and/or influence others.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence a group to build consensus.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to probe for information about the underlying needs of the organization.
  • Demonstrated skills in critical thinking, problem solving, teamwork and customer service.

  • Ability to manage concurrent priorities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare processes and application system coordination

Licensure/Certification(s) Mandatory

Epic Admin Certification - NHHC Standard
