Retail Sales Associate

Europa Village is looking to fill the position of a part-time, seasonal, Retail Sales Associate. The ideal candidate will have a passion for service with an out-going, self-motivated and energetic personality. Strong cash handling skills is a must.

Responsibilities Specific to Retail Sales Clerk

• Possess and live Europa Village core values.
• Greets guests as they enter the retail store.
• Answers any questions guests may have and calls for assistance from the Retail Manager or Retail Supervisor when necessary.
• Accurately and efficiently run POS system and complete sales transactions.
• Wraps and bags merchandise for guests.
• Calculates sale, member or promotional discounts to determine price.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the register area.
• Answers store phone and transfers calls to the appropriate department or personnel.
• Recommends products a guest may be interested in.
• Assists guests with locating items in the retail store.
• Keeps the retail shop and retail areas clean and orderly.
• Retrieves items from storage room.
• Assists in displaying and restocking items throughout the store and retail area.
• Marks and/or tags prices on merchandise.
• Has an eye for attention to detail.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Arrive at work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards and clean, pressed uniform and appropriate slacks, stockings and shoes.
• Arrive on time and be respectful of attendance and punctuality,
• Adhere to Europa Village policies and procedures.
• Be hospitable, welcoming, and exhibit a positive attitude and willingness to assist where necessary.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
