Job Description

SUMMARY

The Retail Marketing Manager will implement and provide marketing strategies for Original Penguin and Perry Ellis full-price and outlet stores.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the creative execution of in-store marketing
  • Develop in-store visual for print and digital (YCD and Brightsign)
  • Manage the execution of seasonal collateral changes
  • Work with buying team to create asset needs in advance of all photoshoots
  • Work with buying team to create window messaging in advance
  • Create and mail out all media and marketing materials to stores
  • Manage Retail Marketing calendar for all floor sets and window changes
  • Process purchase orders and Invoices when applicable
  • Coordinate all in-store and mall events for PE, OPG full-price and outlet stores
  • Events = shopping events, promotional events, mall events, product events, and advertising
  • Partner with NYC marketing groups to standardize event packages
  • Work with store teams to customize brand right events to each store's’ market
  • Partner with mall marketing offices on store/mall initiatives
  • Work with Manager to create pre-event objectives and ROI
  • Post-event analysis for traffic and sales
  • Manage the production and distribution of event signage and social media posts
  • Source and manage all expenses associated
  • Partner with the digital team to send out store emails
  • Manage the store information accuracy on Yelp and e-commerce sites

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities
  • Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills
  • Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams

Ability to manage multiple projects at a time; highly organized with keen attention to detail Strong oral and written communications skills


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, PR or related
  • 3-5 years of experience in retail environment and retail marketing
