Job Description

Department Manager (Fashion Coordinator/Senior Fashion Coordinator)

Previous Merchandising Experience and Flexible Scheduling Availability are Required.

Passionate about and responsible for bringing our great styles, famous brands, and amazing prices to life. You are dedicated to customer service and the overall customer experience. Provide support to the store leadership team and brand manager by taking ownership of the sales performance and visual standards of certain departments. Work on the sales floor before, during, and after store hours; serves as a model for customer service behaviors. Ensure that your department is always neat, clean, organized, and marketing and merchandising standards are executed properly. Brings a positive, can do attitude to the team and make everyone feel included. You make sure Gabe’s is a great place to shop!

  • Collaborates with value assortment ambassador to ensure markdowns are executed properly and remerchandised to standard.
  • Leads execution of short term action plans to support long term store strategies.
  • Owns product, marketing, and cleanliness standards for certain departments.
  • Monitor, maintain, and follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Communicates effectively with crew members and managers to ensure all processes flow properly.
  • Understands how to read and use performance reports to impact each department.
  • Maintains awareness of overall store cleanliness, maintenance, and safety.
  • Serves as a mentor to new crew members.
  • Models respect and professional behaviors in all interactions.
  • Support effective teaching, motivating, feedback, and recognition of crew members.
  • Provides feedback to the merchandise manager regarding crew members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
