Medford Multicare Center, located on Long Island is looking for a Respiratory Therapist!

Medford Multicare Center is looking for an exceptional Respiratory Therapist to join our progressive 40 bed ventilator unit.

We are a growing department with training opportunities in advanced practice in short and long-term ventilator unit. Our Respiratory Therapists are a valuable part of the interdisciplinary team and work closely together with internal medicine and pulmonary. The department is dedicated to providing quality cardiopulmonary care through therapist-driven protocols and evidence-based practices. While experienced therapists are encouraged to apply, the department also welcomes enthusiastic new graduates looking for a challenge and longevity within an established respiratory care department.

Time: 7 pm - 7 am / 7am - 7pm

Shift: PART-TIME Nights / PART -TIME Days

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate of an A.M.A. approved college with a minimum degree of Associate in Applied Science in Respiratory Therapy required.
• New York State Respiratory Therapist License.
• National Board for Respiratory Care Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certification required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English required.
• One ( 1 ) year experience in Acute Care preferred.
