Resort Manager On Duty (Second Shift)

The Rocking Horse Ranch Resort is an award winning, all-inclusive family resort located in Highland, NY. We are seeking a driven, service oriented, and detailed team member for our Management Team! You will be the point of contact for employees, guests, and vendors. This is an afternoon/evening position (4pm-12am), reporting directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities

· Lead/assist department heads in managing the property in the evening until close; ensure all SOP’s are properly implemented

· Maintain perfect cleanliness of lobby, public areas, and facilities

· Direct and support the Housekeeping team with requests

· Handle all Guest Interactions; escalate to the General Manager as needed

· Assist in preparing areas and departments for the next day

· Inspect all shutdown areas and procedures for company policy and conformance

· Communicate with the front desk on guest arrivals, special services, VIPs and other misc. needs

· Motivates and maintains good staff relations, upholding and conforming to the employee handbook

· Ensure proper documentation on all injuries and administered First Aid

· Support the front desk team with incoming reservation calls and resort related questions

· Complete end of night reporting and closure checklists and forms

· Certified in CPR (training is provided)

Qualifications

· Hotel Management Preferred

· Recreational and Pool Knowledge Preferred

· Strong organizational, communication, written and interpersonal skills

· Impeccable attention to detail

· Strong work ethic, adept at multitasking, and a true team player
