Job Description
    The Samaritan Treatment and Recovery Services (STARS) Team provides a recovery-oriented environment in which patients can address their substance use disorders in a holistic manner. The STARS program currently offers outpatient services, residential and peer delivered services. We are looking for people who are passionate about the recovery and change process.
    JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
      Provides safe, trauma responsive, effective day-to-day oversight of patients and the milieu of the residential unit.
    DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
      Samaritan Treatment and Recovery Services provide a continuum of substance abuse services to adults and their families. Members of the Samaritan Treatment and Recovery team work in a multi-disciplinary approach, in both residential and outpatient settings providing evidenced, trauma informed treatment.
    EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • One (1) year experience in a health care, substance use and/or addiction treatment setting required.
    • Healthcare Provider BLS required.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment required.
    • Documentation of current and continuous abstinence required in accordance with certification requirements of MHACBO in the case of a recovering candidate.
    • Enrollment in a college level degree program and working towards gaining certification in a Human Services related field preferred.

    • Knowledge of substance abuse disorders and recovery.
