Position Highlights:

- Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
- Hours: Monday-Friday, Day shift
- Required Travel: Yes; required to travel other location within the NorthShore legacy depend on projects
What you will need:
- Education: Bachelor Degree
- Certification: N/A
- Experience: preferred Science background and research related experience
- Skills:
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and its usage.
- Knowledge of sterile techniques.
- Ability to establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships with students, faculty, staff and peers.
- Data entry and patient interview to assist researchers on projects.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
- Assist with patient recruitment.
- Collect biological samples.
- Performs routine qualitative and quantitative tests to determine the basic components and characteristics of biological specimens and samples; records test results; labels and files specimens and results.
- Ship samples to the study reference laboratory.
- Assist in the maintenance of the research database.
- Maintain a neat, clean and well-stocked work area.
- Performs study related duties as required or assigned.
