Remote Front End Web Developer With Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Demandware) Experience

• Development on the SFCC platform with a multi-site SFRA implementation

• Implementing front end initiatives including designing and building out new content assets, forms, menus and pages, optimizing existing pages, images and site performance

• Identifying and trouble-shooting coding issues

• Managing ecommerce storefront updates and deploys, collaborating with the ecommerce team

• Managing Jira boards and meeting multiple deadlines

• Collaborating with ecommerce and marketing colleagues who are also working remotely on design and functionality options and best practices

Specific Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of professional front-end development experience on the SFCC platform - SFRA
• At least 4 years of professional Web development experience for consumer Websites
• Advanced understanding of HTML, SCSS/CSS, CSS Layout techniques, lazy-loading concepts and implementation, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, JSON, jQuery,
• Understanding of browser compatibility and screen limitations
• Solid knowledge of responsive design
• Experience integrating with server-side code to produce dynamic pages
• Hands-on experience and knowledge of code repository best practices and version control systems (GIT)

• Hands-on experience using Web-based project management software including Jira and Confluence

• Ability to work independently on multiple projects and meet project deadlines with different timelines and teams

• Ability to respond effectively to creative feedback, provide design options, and communicate pros and cons of different approaches

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong organizational and verbal communication skills
