About the Role

As a Reliability Test Technician, you will set up test equipments, assembling test fixtures, execute test plans, collect test data, monitor and report test status. This will be a hands-on, technical role.

About the Work
  • Design, build, assemble and setup of test equipments and fixtures
  • Skilled in reliability test operation, including environmental tests, mechanical tests, chemical tests, electrical tests
  • Reliable and consistent data reporting is critical to ensure hardware reliability even some tests are repetitive. Test results have a strong impact on the final design
  • Document and report on issues found during test promptly
  • Scrutinize each test setup and test procedure, give feedback or suggestions for further improvements
  • Perform tear downs with engineers after test completion to discover issues generated during testing, document and report results
  • Use creative and innovative thinking to solve problems when there is no easy solution
  • Maintain test lab and equipments. Mentor and train new technicians as the team grows
About You
  • Able to operate and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic equipments, hand and power tools in a lab environment
  • Have experience working with reliability engineer to perform testing
  • Have working experiences with thermal chambers, IP test equipments, vib/shock table, UV chambers, digital multimeters, calipers, micrometers, scales, microscope, thermocouples, strain gauges, accelerometers, and cameras.
  • Holds basic understanding of the reliability process and common testing practices
  • Ability to remain flexible with the changing needs of the business
  • Basic knowledge with Linux is a plus
  • Experience working with High Voltage, EVs, or Autonomous Vehicles a plus
  • Diagnostic experience with vehicle or robotics systems such as electrical and mechanical devices, sensors, computers, and other associated equipment is a plus
  • Self-motivated, Highly organized, Positive attitude
  • Able to handle multiple assignments with possible changing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Able to effectively collaborate within a team and work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion to provide accurate data with strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter; able to learn where to find information and resources
