Job Description
Under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech/Language Pathologist, Social Worker, or Rehabilitation Counselor, the Rehabilitation Technician is responsible for assisting in direct and indirect patient care. Assists with the specific technical aspects of treatment. Demonstrates the ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and confidentiality in dealing with patients, physicians, co-workers and visitors. May provide care to patients in pediatric to geriatric age groups.

High school graduate or GED equivalent. Previous training and experience desirable but not essential. Worker receives on the job training under close supervision.
