Registration Rep/Business Office Associate

Overview: Works under the supervision of the Clinic Coordinator Office Manager and Director of Outpatient Physical Therapy. The staff member will strive to exceed the customers' expectations by demonstrating flexibility and sensitivity necessary to respond to the customers' needs. Must possess strong attention to detail and own excellent written and verbal communication skills. Responsible for all benefit collections; charge reconciliation payment posting insurance verification and authorization. Accountable for customer registration in iCare. Performs a variety of administrative duties that supports front end and Rehab staff such as answering phones and scheduling appointments for patients. Responsible for contacting patients on the Referral Workqueues and place notations as needed. Functioning as a team member the staff member is required to be flexible in their work assignments and at times may be asked to perform other duties as assigned. Must be available for rotating schedules as well as some light traveling to support all aligned rehab service facilities when needed. The staff member will also assist with new employee on-boarding training. Responsible for the maintenance of office equipment and supplies required to support the facility operations. In addition the staff member will comply with National Patient Safety Goals HIPAA guidelines and Corporate Compliance polices. Participates in quality and customer service programs and meets all CBL and renews their CHAA Certification timely.

Certification: CHAA certification preferred.
