Full Time; 36 hours a week, 3 - 12 hour shift Shift: 7:00am to 7:30pm with every other weekend (Friday and Saturday night) rotating holiday schedule.

Unit Description:SWAT
This position will respond to all code blues and rapid response calls throughout the hospital and assist with filling open shifts in the ICU. You will be working in collaboration with Resident Physician or Hospital Physician in transferring to a higher level of care post response. Two years of critical care experience preferred. Will train RN with at least 2 years Two years of acute stroke experience preferred prior to SWAT role.
*Sign on bonus offered up to $7,000 based on experience - more details will be discussed during the interview process!*
As a Registered Nurse, you are an essential part of our success stories within our Healthcare system. If you want to make a difference, we want you!What You Will Do: Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.- Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card will be accepted upon hire but renewal must be a BLS Provider card from AHA.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
