HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake – Webster, TXRegistered Nurse (RN) – DialysisHCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is a 490-bed acute care facility offering inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical and specialty services. The campus includes Level II trauma capabilities, a Neuroscience Institute, The Heart & Vascular Hospital, a bariatrics program, the Breast Diagnostic Center, a wound care center, a level III Neonatal ICU, and the area’s only pediatric emergency department and pediatric ICU. What you will do in this role:
  • Responsible for direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients on the Dialysis Unit.
  • Participates in activities to plan, measure, assess, and improve the quality of patient care.
  • Communicates with Nurse Director and House Supervisor regarding patient care, staff conflicts and unusual occurrences.
  • Ensures efficient, quality care of patients requiring dialysis.
  • Assures daily charges are entered on Meditech.
  • Adheres to and complies with HCA Code of Conduct as part of Ethics and Compliance program. Attends annual training sessions.

Qualifications


What qualifications you will need:
  • Minimum of one (1) year Dialysis nurse experience.

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing

  • Current licensure as an RN in the State of Texas.

  • Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider

  • American Red Cross or America Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification

  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification
