Regional Vice President, Sales – North East

Sitecore is experiencing spectacular growth all over the world. To build on Sitecore’s success and growth, we are expanding our sales organization and in need of strong Regional Vice President to provide oversight for our Enterprise and Strategic Sales organization.

Position Summary:

As a Regional VP of Sales, you will lead a team of Enterprise and Strategic software Sales professionals and have a direct impact on the overall growth of Sitecore. This individual will have responsibility for the expansion of our Enterprise and Strategic sales activities in the North East and East Canada. We are looking for a high achiever that demonstrates strong sales leadership with deep knowledge of the digital experience landscape to lead strategic go to market initiatives for their respective region. This Sales Leader will offer creative client engagement strategies to assist the success of their team and support customers and prospects digital transformation initiatives. This individual will coach, mentor, and guide a mature first level sales organization and assist with enabling the team to increase deal sizes and opportunities while expanding the Sitecore’s footprint. This individual will have a direct reporting relationship to the AVP of the East Sales organization.

The ideal candidate will have a proven software sales leadership background in the digital marketing landscape with a successful track record at managing a self-motivated and high achieving software sales organization. This position calls for a driven person who thrives on winning business, empathetic to your teams’ complex business challenges and guide them through successful sales cycles.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and guidance to direct reports. As needed, participate in client meetings and engaging other corporate resources as required
  • Develop a winning team, including recruiting, hiring, and training
  • Coach direct reports first level enterprise and strategic sellers on strategies to drive sales wins
  • Report team sales activity and provide accurate forecasting to senior sales management
  • Lead and actively monitor demand generation activities internally and with partner ecosystem
  • Drive customer awareness and engagement
  • Develop and execute successful sales campaigns for team success
  • Engage at C-level in enterprise customer organizations
  • Manage, support, and resolve significant client escalations and issues
  • Develop required Corporate relationships and Executive engagement to support success

Qualifications:

  • Proven Performance as a Sales Leader over an enterprise Sales organization ideally in Marketing Technology Software
  • Established presentation, executive engagement skills and negotiation skills
  • Experience in supporting complex deal activities, providing sales enablement, coaching, and mentoring
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Demonstrated passion to drive for results and a healthy competitive disposition for winning.
  • Consultative selling and coaching experience with a proven sales methodology
  • Can collaborate and influence in a “win as a team” environment
  • Is a trusted advisor to the customers, team, partners, and colleagues
  • Strong business acumen

This role can be located remotely in any City in the North East near any major airport.
