Job Description

Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. (Loureiro) is seeking a Recruiter to add to our team in Plainville, CT. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering with hiring managers to identify top talent for Loureiro. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand current openings and prioritize key requirements;
  • Post job openings to both internal and external job search websites;
  • Proactively source, network, screen, and qualify candidates to present to hiring managers
  • Schedule and conduct comprehensive interviews to achieve hiring goals;
  • Provide superior applicant communication including follow-up correspondence to candidates on recruiting status via phone and email;
  • Develop strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers;
  • Update candidate records and job postings in the applicant tracking system;
  • Assist with campus recruiting;
  • Develop a pipeline of candidates for future hiring needs;
  • Exercise complete discretion and confidentially at all times;
  • Enters and maintains, current and accurate information in the Applicant Tracking System including but not limited to: job posting content, applicant tracking, and response, anecdotal information, and other required data.
  • Communicates status of searches with Talent Acquisition on a consistent and timely basis;
  • Maintains and reports Recruitment Metrics for assigned departments/key jobs on a regularly scheduled basis.

Requirements:

  • Strong desire to promote the Loureiro brand and identify top talent for our top workplace!
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required;
  • 2+ years of agency or corporate recruiting experience preferred. Prior experience with Engineering and Construction recruiting or strong desire/ability to learn required;
  • Experience working in an applicant tracking system;
  • Excellent customer service skills: approachable, courteous; responds to requests in a timely manner;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously;
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of different people at all levels within the organization;
  • Aptitude for learning new technologies and processes quickly and thoroughly;
  • Outstanding organizational skills and high attention to detail;
  • Self-starter who approaches challenges with emotional intelligence and strong problem-solving skills;
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel and Outlook.
