Receptionist / Front Desk Coordinator For Top Facial Plastic Surgeon

As part of our front desk team, you will be in charge of checking in patients for appointments, expertly fielding incoming communications, managing our busy clinic schedule, keeping patient charts organized and updated, and making sure that the team is prepared for each patient.

4 Minimum Requirements - Do you meet them all?

1. Passion

2. Strong Relevant Experience

• Obviously, we'd prefer someone with previous experience in the plastic surgery industry. However, some of our best hires had no previous experience in the field. Don't confuse this with "no previous experience required." We DO require previous experience, but we're willing to think outside the box. We've hired excellent employees from the hospitality industry, administrative field, marketing field, and other medical fields.

• STRONG experience in answering the main phones for a company; preferably multi-line phones where you need to transfer to extensions in order to properly field the call.

• STRONG experience in greeting visitors for a company; preferably checking in customers for appointments.

• Experience in a luxury setting of some sort. Obviously, plastic surgery would be the ideal relevant experience, but it could also be in the hospitality industry, at a spa, or high-end retail sales.

3. Seasoned Professional

• Attention to detail is crucial in this position. You must be meticulous and be very good at retaining information given both verbally and in writing.

• Ability to represent SKY well. Excellent people skills. The best customer service.
• Professional at all times and in all interactions. The best phone voice and email etiquette.
• Excellent written communication skills, including proper punctuation, spelling and grammar.

4. Strong Computer Skills

• Type at least 50 wpm

• Comfortable maneuvering on a Mac

• Quick on computers
• Good at troubleshooting technology

• A whiz at formatting Word documents
• Comfortable creating, entering data into, and maneuvering an Excel database

Pay & Benefits: The Non-Negotiables

• We are proud to offer an hourly pay of $20 for the first years of employment with the ability to earn bonuses after your first year. There is excellent career growth potential over the years up to a management level.
• Our current shift is in flux due to COVID-19. Historically, this position has been Tuesday through Saturday. However, we've temporarily shifted to Monday to Friday 8AM to 4:45PM. You MUST be willing to work Saturdays once we switch back.
• Hourly position
• Need to be able to work overtime upon request
• Some evenings required for special events
• Located in 4S Ranch, in north county San Diego near Escondido / Rancho Bernardo areas. Make sure this is a daily commute you like!
• 1-week of sick leave per year. Unused sick leave rolls over into vacation.
• Earn up to 2 weeks of paid vacation your first year. Ability to accrue up to 4 weeks of paid vacation after first two years.
