Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Our company a behavioral health office in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan is currently seeking a Full-Time dynamic and energetic Receptionist/Front Desk Admin. The office offers a full spectrum of services including psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, and interventional treatment including dTMS and ketamine for patients with treatment resistant depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and attention disorders and OCD. The office is a friendly, comfortable environment for one-on-one, confidential support. We welcome adolescents, individuals, and couples to the office and we are committed to providing the level of support that best suits each person's needs. Our expert use of personalized talk therapy and medication helps teens and adults move forward in good health, contentment, and balance.

The Receptionist/Front Desk Admin is responsible for all reception aspects of the program, which are necessary to ensure the smooth and orderly operation of the facility. Positive and courteous interactions with clients, staff and other community agencies are an essential aspect of this job.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Handles incoming calls during clinic hours while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette.

2. Responsible for taking messages from the general voice mailbox and delivering to staff.

3. Welcomes and greets all clients and visitors, in person or over the phones.

4. Maintains an accurate record of clients seen each day.

5. Manage all staff clinical schedules, which includes appointments, cancellations, and will-call lists.

6. Accurately schedules all client appointments.

7. Accepts and receipts payment from clients.

8. Receives and directs persons attending meetings.

9. Other designated duties.

Qualifications:

Experience in a behavioral health office setting is preferable, but we are open to those with a strong background in hospitality
