Shift: 1

A week: Monday 4:00pm-8:00pm B Week: Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Monday 4:00pm-8:00pm 1 Saturday a month from 8:00am-12:00pm

Summary:
At the direction of a radiologist or other providers prepares patients and performs radiographic procedures in diagnostic radiology and operates imaging equipment. Performs diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. Adheres to organizational customer service standards and supports the organizational excellence initiatives. Provides positive and effective interaction and communication with patients visitors and staff. Performs ancillary services and assists in patient care areas as necessary. Other duties as assigned


Responsibilities:
One year of current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology is preferred. Clinical student experience may be considered in lieu of one year of current clinical experience. Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred but not required. ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
