QUALITY TECHNICIAN

Immediate Opening – 2nd Shift

We are looking for individuals with a sharp eye for details and manufacturing inspection process experience to join our Quality Control Team. You will work on our manufacturing floor inspecting unique rubber and plastic soundproofing components for cars. After inspection, you will enter pertinent data into online documents. Second shift hours 3 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process inspections during production
• Lab testing (we will train you) per internal requirements
• Ensure finished product meets all specifications
• Other inspections as needed to support ongoing production
• At times, may need to adjust schedule to support production as an operator, packer or sorter

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of injections molding and types of production defects that can be produced
• Knowledge of standard inspection processes and audits
• Experience with handheld measuring devices such as calipers, rulers and height gages
• Experience entering data into datasheets

Pay rate: Based on experience

Potential Work Environment: Climate controlled but temperatures may vary at times from hot and cold. At times, non-toxic fumes.

Physical Requirements: Standing 100% of the shift. Continual reaching, grasping, pushing and pulling objects. Crouching and lifting up to 30 lbs. on/off during shift and at times up to 50 lbs. Frequent bending, stooping, and walking. Safety glasses are required/provided in certain areas of our manufacturing floor.
