Quality Supervisor

Description:

The individual who fills the role of Quality Supervisor will manage the daily manufacturing activities within a specific work area/division on a particular shift, motivating, coaching and directing a team of Quality Techs, and ensuring that all company and contract standards are upheld.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure efficient operation of the assigned departments and coordinate between cross-functional departments with the intent of continuous process improvement and customer satisfaction

· Enforce plant procedures and rules on a consistent basis to ensure maximum safety, efficiency and quality of operations. These procedures would include plant instructions, shop rules and guidelines of the Labor Agreement

· Effectively solve problems using the tools outlined in our corrective action procedures (including but not limited to customer quality concerns, process inefficiencies, employee training, or continuous improvement)

· Motivate, coach, counsel, develop, lead, and hold team members accountable to the core values of the company through proper documentation, training, recognition, and disciplinary action

· Assist in establishing and maintaining an accurate physical inventory of all raw materials and components used for production

· Document and execute work instructions for production floor including but not limited to One Point Lessons, Quality Bulletins and Sort/Rework and Containment Instructions.

· Complete all required daily audits. (Process audits, 5S audits and follow-up on failure modes)

· Working knowledge of SPC, GD&T, MSA, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, Problem Solving Techniques

· Perform other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Quality Assurance: 2 years (Required)
• ISO 9001: 2 years (Required)
• Supervising experience: 3 years (Required)

• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
