Quality Assurance Lead Analyst

Overview: This role resides within the Nikko Information Technology Group team and you will be part of an established Quality Assurance team. As a member of our team, your goals and responsibilities will be to ensure that our applications are functioning as expected at the highest quality and meeting customer needs for our business. Here at Nikko, you will work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
The Quality Assurance Lead role will be responsible for providing Quality Assurance test support for the development team, as well as coordinating communication in projects with business analysts. You will also be working on the automation of test processes and functions across in-house application technology prior to any User Acceptance Testing phases in our team.Responsibilities:

• Lead initiatives for automation of post validation tests.
• Lead initiatives for automation of regression testing.
• Develop and enhance QA test processes to reduce the number of production incidents.
• Prioritize and develop enhancements to continuously improve application stability and scalability in post production phase of application projects.
• Maintain communication workstreams between developers, business analysts, and sponsor stakeholder teams.
• Help drive quality and effectiveness of risk automation controls established by business and process application owners.
• Conduct reviews of applications and workflow processes in order to target automation effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Experience working with Fixed Income, Equity domain is a plus.
• Good knowledge with SQL Server and SQL queries.
• Conversant in ITIL.
• Experience in designing Frameworks is a plus.
• Good knowledge in any automation testing tools.
• Should have worked on defect management tools like QC or Jira.
• Should have basic understanding of programming concepts and languages such as Python, C#
