Your Role:

As part of our eBusiness Solutions organization, you will have the opportunity to work on the leading website in the life science industry to shape the overall customer experience and support the development of our digital strategy based on insights. As a member of the Customer Experience team, you will be a major contributor with influence on creating intuitive user experiences, advocate using data and research to deeply understand how we can help scientists select, purchase, and use the best products for their research and make the most of their time through improved e-commerce experiences.

The Qualitative Researcher, eCommerce is a major contributor on a team that delivers market, customer and competitive insights that will be used to enhance the ecommerce experience and drive business value. In this influential role you will be able to advise and help direct strategic decisions through your in-depth knowledge and advocacy of our customers, their behaviors and needs.

As a Qualitative Researcher, eCommerce you will be responsible for the development of research plans that tell a comprehensive story of the digital customer journey and identify opportunities for improvement and address unmet needs. Your research will include, but not be limited to user experience, customer satisfaction, moderation (interviews, focus groups), and ethnography. You will design, execute, and socialize qualitative customer research projects and contribute to broad mixed-method research projects collaborating with teammates and cross-functionally leading to meaningful recommendations aimed at enhancing our customer understanding and propelling digital innovation. You will also have the opportunity to deliver inspiring executive level communications and presentations to secure investments in our customer experience.

This position can be located in St. Louis, MO, Burlington, MA or work remotely within the United States.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing Research or Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or similar with 3+ years of experience with qualitative research processes and methods (i.e., surveys and questionnaire design, personas, lab studies, diary studies, focus groups, in-home/@ work interviews and other methods) - OR -
  • Master's degree in Marketing Research or Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or similar with 1+ years of experience with qualitative and quantitative research processes and methods (i.e., surveys and questionnaire design, personas, lab studies, diary studies, focus groups, in-home/@ work interviews and other methods)
