QA Lead - IoT (Telecom Network)

You will join a new team engaged in developing and validating IoT solutions for one of North America’s largest cellular network operators. The successful candidate will be expected to use his/her existing network and QA experience to develop a QA process and lead a small team of QA Engineers
Duties

• IoT QA testing across multiple platforms using real devices and web/UI-based applications.
• Provide support to IoT Architecture and Engineering teams on analysis of EPC including capacity, signaling, dimensioning, OSS/BSS, etc.
• Analysis of technical design documentation and 3GPP standards to develop a Test Strategy.
• Test case design and creation
• Test results analysis and reporting
• Triage and Troubleshooting of issues found in testing.
• Collaboration with OEM and other teams on issue RCA and resolution.
• Produce reports as requested by the engineering staff for analysis or characterization tasks
• The main point of contact for client Managers.
• Collaborate with and guide junior testing resources.
• Develop and Manage Testing Plan
• Coordinate testing plan with lab resources
• Proactively engage team resources to ensure deliverables are properly captured and documented
• Facilitate documentation and deliverables by contributing engineers or test teams
• Enforce standards for documentation and configuration management to ensure a high standard of quality
• Track and catalog documentation deliverables by the vendor
• Ensure client-specific implementation details and services are thoroughly documented for future reference and delivery to internal stakeholders.
• Provide regular status of documentation deliverables
• Capture documentation deliverables for insertion into Design Guides, Operation Guides, and Engineering Packages
  

Location
The team is based in Redmond, WA
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years EPC, IMS, OSS/BSS Troubleshooting and 3GPP experience
• 3+ years Application/ Network testing experience
• 1+ Year Team Management Experience
• Experience writing clear and concise test cases for complex topics
• Experience with the following tools: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Word (advanced)
  

PREFERED EXPERIENCE

• IoT knowledge/ experience
• Jira/ HP QC experience
