The Big Task

The Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing activities during the purchasing and inventory control process such as creating purchase orders, arranging transportation, invoice creation, and follow through.

Key Sub Tasks

  • Create purchase orders and invoices for parts and equipment needed for job completion.
  • Ensure that all purchase orders and invoices are complete and accurate.
  • Arrange for transportation for parts and equipment needed to job sites.
  • Assist inventory control analyst to monitor and maintain current inventory levels for van warehouses.
  • Order inventory as directed and ensure its arrival and accurate processing.
  • Submit warranty requests to vendors.
  • Serve as a backup for the purchasing agent and inventory control analyst when required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education and/or Experience

A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record is required for this position.

  • Salary for this position $18 - $20 per hour (DOE)
