Job Description
Overview: HealthDrive is currently searching for an Inpatient Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to work Full-Time (Monday - Friday) at our partner hospital in Stoughton, MA.
This position works with an interdisciplinary team to provide excellent care to on our geriatric psychiatric hospital unit. This is a full time position, with competitive salary and benefits beginning day 1 of employment.Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with Psychiatrists to formulate an Initial Psychiatric History and Physical Assessment per regulatory guidelines.
Attend and participate in daily morning rounds.
Attend and participate in the multidisciplinary treatment team meeting per hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Perform daily face to face encounters for every patient assigned to the practitioner caseload.
Complete daily patient progress notes in both the hospital electronic medical record system.
Collaborate with nursing, medical hospitalists and patient primary care physician as needed regarding medical issues.Qualifications: Prior inpatient psychiatry experience highly desired.
MS/MSN from accredited college/university.
Massachusetts licensure, DEA and MCSR.
Excellent communication skills with patients, staff, and colleagues.
