We are looking for a dynamic self-starter to join our small but MIGHTY team! If you are interested in playing a key role in assessing the Medicaid Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Recovery Supports delivery system, this is the position for you! The Provider Experience Coordinator will facilitate provider engagement and implement strategies to improve the quality of, and access to, behavioral health care for our members. These positions will conduct a comprehensive qualitative & quantitative assessment of the State’s Medicaid Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Recovery Supports.


Responsible for participating in the execution of operational readiness activities in support of provider experience projects, Small Systems Change Requests, process improvement initiatives and training activities.


Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Participates in the development and delivery of job aids for production operational users.
  • Monitors initiative impact to Provider Experience Key Performance Indicators.
  • Participates in pre and post implementation claims audit reviews.
  • Provides subject matter expertise support for production issues and targeted continuous improvement activities.


Requirements:

  • Requires an AD in Business or related field; 5+ years of experience in a healthcare organization supporting operations, provider or claims; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Experience with provider payer organization or payer relations within a large provider organization preferred.
  • Looking for a candidate who has substance use disorder experience e.g. including Opioid Use
  • Experience interfacing directly with (adult, child or both) providers
  • Experience in providing and managing quality improvement/assurance activities
  • Familiar with various levels of care within the continuum e.g. residential, partial, intensive, withdrawal management
  • External client facing & key stakeholder engagement experience
  • Knowledgeable about Medicaid delivery system would be helpful- preferred but not mandatory
  • Clinical licensure preferred but not mandatory e.g. LADC


This position will be remote but then long term may have some time spent in the field once restrictions are listed and spend some time in the local office in CT.
