The Opportunity:

Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is looking for a Server - Full-Time / Regular Food and Beverage Server serves guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and mixed drinks as well as information regarding preparation methods. This position will communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system. They will coordinate food timings and check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order. They will be responsible for delivering and clearing guest food as well as assisting with any guest needs throughout service. They will accurately close guest checks and process cash and credit card payments. This position may be asked to server in any our outlets including; The Remedy, Flame and Banquets. They may also be asked to help out in Room Service and Bean and Gone as needed. Food and Beverage Server skills and qualifications needed: Minimum 2 years experience serving in a high end restaurant setting required. Previous experience in lounge or hotel restaurant setting preferred. A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule. Must be fluent in English and possess legal work authorization in the United States.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Take guest orders and describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods.
• Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system; coordinate food and beverage timings.
• Check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order and transport items to the guest table or lounge chair in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
• Breakdown, clean and set-up of tables, buffets, and food stations.
• Plate, prepare and serve food
• Take Guest reservations
• Assist with set-up and breakdown of tables
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
• Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of Food & Beverage when needed.
• Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Impact.
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

Who We Look For:

Ideal candidate will have:

• Positive and outgoing attitude
• At least 1-3 years serving experience.
• High school education or equivalent experience
• Excellent at creating and updating Microsoft Word & Excel spreadsheets and will receive proper training on the internal operational systems (Opera, hotsos/rex, Mobile App)
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language/ Spanish is a plus.
