Job Description
Job Description: We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to join our talented Professional Services team. The successful candidate will work with customers and the engagement team to support the design and implementation of a ServiceNow solution for our customers. Responsibilities include the overall execution of the project, including but not limited to developing and maintaining schedules, risk and issue management, coordination of stakeholders, oversight of quality of deliverables, and supporting documentation. Responsibilities may also include tasks relative to a Scrum Master, Business Analyst, and quality assurance testing.Typical responsibilities include
  • Facilitating project startup, transition-in, and ongoing supervision of project staff.
  • Providing oversight to ensure that deliverables meet NetImpact and Client standards
  • Ensuring the scope, cost, and schedule are met, and performance metrics are met or exceeded
  • Assessing, monitoring, and mitigating project risks
  • Providing and/or presenting regular status reports and reviews
  • Coordinating knowledge sharing and efficiencies among project staff and clients.
  • Maintaining and coordinating project schedules, tasks, milestones, and achievements
  • Serve as Scrum Master for the development phases of the project
  • In some engagements, the Project Manager will also serve the role of a Business Analyst and/or Quality Assurance Tester
  • Participating in NetImpact development activities, including supporting marketing, proposal, thought leadership, and recruiting efforts
Qualifications:
  • BS degree in the related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Program/Project Management with at least 3 of those in managing ITSM initiatives and/or technical solutions
  • Experience serving as a scrum master in an Agile software development environment
  • Certified PMP or MBA or equivalent management qualifications
  • Experience in the successful implementation of ServiceNow solutions
  • Basic technical skills in ServiceNow configuration, or the ability and desire to learn
  • Experience organizing, coordinating, and leading teams in analyzing, documenting business requirements, functional design and development of ServiceNow solutions
  • Demonstrated experience providing full lifecycle documentation for software development projects
  • Demonstrated experience on business and system analysis, preferably with Federal Systems
  • Collaborate closely with the technical team to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during testing processes
  • Strong leadership and facilitation skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Developed problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills in both oral and written form
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain government eligibility requirements
  • A genuine desire to learn is essential
Desired Skills
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator is a plus
  • Experience working in the Federal Government
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • Highly desirable: proven ability to understand and document business requirements, and then convert them into technical requirements (e.g, user stories).
