SUMMARY:

We are looking for a reliable Project Manager to join our team! As a Project Manager at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing, planning, managing, and tracking the progress of our interior construction projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have 5-7 years of work experience in project management within construction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, or Construction Project Management certification.
  • Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles.
  • Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs.
  • High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work location.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Ability to operate independently on a project and supervise the project team.
  • Understand what the client or a company wants to achieve.
  • Manage, and direct construction projects from beginning to the end within budget.
  • Oversee several projects at the same time.
  • Experience with contracts, drawings, estimates, bidding, and with construction of interior buildings.
  • Ability to review and negotiate change orders.
  • Provide management support for the client to coordinate, direct and monitor activities of subcontractors, designers, architects, and related performing entities.
  • Assist the project team with tracking of the project progress/schedule, verifying field conditions against approved drawings, processing of Potential Change Orders, and Submittals.
  • Organize and maintain all building records, correspondence, contracts, related to the design, bidding, and change/approved order requests.
  • Coordinate special inspection with onsite team and maintain project photos.
  • Ensure project management plan and procedures manuals are developed in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Prepare accident/incident reports and performs follow-up investigations.
  • Monitor and guide compliance with building agreement and safety regulations.
  • Experience with database project controls software systems.
  • Provide project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures support and administration.
  • Plan to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
  • Always ensure quality construction standards.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and other employees.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
Employees subcontractors and visitors must maintain a physical distance of 6ft unless the function of the work activity requires a shorter distance. We issue face masks for all employees while on site.
