Project Manager for fast-growing, fully-funded* start-up in The Amusement Park Industry*

The Mandate

The Amusement park industry is ripe for disruption.

There are no platforms that are simultaneously enhancing the guest experience while driving operational efficiency and accelerating positive bottom line results.

As the Project Manager, you will ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget within our business unit. Our projects are complex. They are not "software projects". They are a combination of Software, Firmware, Systems, Electronics, Manufacturing, and Mechanical Engineering. It is essential that you have enough cross-disciplinary familiarity to manage this kind of scenario.

Vantage provides guests with an elevated experience through personalization, safety, loyalty rewards and digital overlays within attractions, surf venues and resorts around the world. While guests are experiencing the venue, Vantage helps staff by contextualizing data that is meaningful to optimizing the overall operations of the venue. Our clients range from water parks and theme parks to hotels and resorts, museums, zoos and much more. Our goal is to grow our business by doubling clients year over year.

Team Organization
Reporting to the Director of Product Innovation and Customer Success, you will be a critical member of a small but growing team. You will contribute to product vision and then drive that vision through to production.
The team cadence includes annual planning, quarterly offsites, monthly updates, weekly priority meetings and daily huddles to ensure we capture opportunities in a very fast paced industry. You will work out of our Longmont, CO offices and will be provided all the necessary productivity tools to be successful.

The challenges our team will face over the next six months are prioritized as follows:

  • Achieving scalability
  • Refining systems and processes to ensure stability
  • Developing the platform while installing Vantage and supporting clientele.
  • Delivering projects to clients

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work within our current project planning processes and enhance where necessary
  • Lead the development of project plans
  • Assist in the definition of project scope
  • Analyze and Mitigate Project Risk
  • Manage Project Documentation
  • Track Project Performance, Report Progress
  • Develop detailed project plans
  • Coordinate Resource Allocation and Availability
  • Assist in documentation of requirements and designs
  • Track Project Budget

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-years experience in Multi-Disciplinary Project Management
  • Minimum of 3-years experience in Project Planning
  • Previous experience in working within a complex project management structure
  • Solid Communications Skills
  • Interpersonal Skills
