Project Estimator

Compensation:

• $25,000 base salary per year + Commission

Hour Requirements:

• Between 45-55 hours per week from March-December
• Between 15-30 hours per week from January-February

Requirements:

• Current and valid PA Driver’s license
• 2-5 years of Sales Experience in the Construction and/or Landscaping Industry
• Comprehension of LMN Software (In house training is available)

Position Description:

The focus of this position is working with and through others, building, and maintaining relationships, and working closely and accurately within established guidelines. This position will be the face of the company and will be the first impression for everyone they meet. There is a need for an effective communicator, someone who is able to stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns. This position is designated for an extremely self driven and motivated individual. While you will have quotas to meet, there is flexibility in the day to day schedule that MUST be capitalized on. There will be many different people to meet and work with.This position requires someone who will be friendly and genuinely interested in the industry, our business, the agenda, and the needs of others, including the company, its management, the team, and the company's customers.
A persuasive, teaching style of communication is required to communicate the company's mission, services, offerings, and abilities. A faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. Detail work is a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently. This portion of the work will often focus on relationships with others (i.e. Potential clients, current customers, the team, etc.)

Correct handling of details dealing with others is necessary to maintain and grow relationships. If the job involves managing others, following up carefully, closely, and cheerfully is required to ensure both correct work and maintenance of the relationships.

Necessary corrections must be made in a constructive, supportive manner. As time is usually a factor, the work must be done on time, as well as correctly/precisely. In general, this is a position where guidelines, structure, and established policies must be followed fairly closely, while working with and for others.

Details

• The majority of time will be spent at offsite appointments with potential clients
• The following types of work will be expected to be sold

_ Hardscapes/Outdoor Construction projects_
_ Softscape/Landscape Installations_
_ Landscape Maintenance (Lawn mowing, shrub pruning, mulching, etc.)_

• Expected sales to be at least $1million/year *
• Will work with our designer, architect, and project manager to ensure jobs are correctly bid.
• Knowledge of the landscaping and outdoor construction industry is essential
• This position is what you make it and requires intense motivation to sell. i.e. The more profitable work you sell, the more you earn.
