Project Coordinator

Job Description and Duties

We are looking for a responsible Project Coordinator to help administer and organize all projects. Project Coordinator responsibilities include preparing comprehensive action plans and timeframes for projects. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like scheduling and acting as main support person in the office for the project managers on the field, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling all related queries. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure that all projects are completed on time and meet high-quality standards. Specific items as follows:

  • Coordinate project all job activities with Project Managers
  • Monitors project tasks progress and assists Project Managers
  • Manage work orders and assist with schedule management
  • Review and close out completed work orders for on-going projects
  • Manage project change orders internally and externally.
  • Track, organize and distribute project change orders
  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Expedite designs and proposals from engineering to project management.
  • Manage project punch lists
  • Communicate with clients to identify and define projects requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Back up Service Manager when necessary.

Necessary Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role
  • Complete Microsoft Suite skills (excel, word, PP and Outlook required.
  • Experience in project management
  • An ability to prepare schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity a construction type-environment
  • Hands-on experience with CRMs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
