Job Description

MBL Technologies is looking for a Program Manager for a department level security and privacy program. This role will oversee all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects. The PM will analyze new and complex project-related problems and create innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project. Provide applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources.


Responsibilities

  • Applies knowledge of FISMA, NIST, OMB, and FedRAMP requirements, guidance, and processes including implementing processes governed by the NIST Risk Management Framework as described in the current published version of NIST SP 800-37.
  • Provides subject matter expertise with the content and processes contained in the current published version of NIST SP 800-53 (Security and Privacy Controls for Federal Information Systems and Organizations) and NIST SP 800-53A (Assessing Security and Privacy Controls in Federal Information Systems and Organizations).
  • Leads team conducting Security and Privacy Control Assessments in accordance with NIST SP 800-53 Security Controls in a U.S. Federal Government IT Environment.
  • Manages a team of with all aspects of service delivery within a U.S. Federal Government IT Environment including:
    • assuring delivery of all work products and deliverables by agreed to dates and at acceptable levels of quality.
    • day-to-day performance of Contractor Staff and Deliverables.
    • Tracking and managing activities across all parties within the Task Order SOW.
    • serving as a technical advisor for complex contract decisions and issues.
    • Handling of all invoicing, budgeting and financial-related issues.
  • Participates in all status updates and acts as the delivery authority.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical IT field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • 20 years of relevant experience providing support in the Federal Government.
  • Possess and maintain a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Demonstrable experience in the development and implementation of client-specific workflow processes.
  • Demonstrable experience in implementation and delivery of services based on NIST 800 series publications.
  • Advanced proficiency in analytical, project planning, negotiations, interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
