Job Description
Owego Direct Energy Programs Lead MPM / Operation lead
The function of a Manufacturing Project Manager (MPM) is to provide overall oversight of RMS Operation area for all the Direct Energy Programs. MPM's support Manufacturing manpower and resources necessary to deliver equipment. Products and data in accordance with Production Operations' commitment to the IWSS sites across multiple LOB work content, contractual obligations, and to deliver such equipment within program established cost, schedule and quality standards.
Basic Qualifications:
To be qualified to interview for this role, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
Must have PM and/or PC and/or ME Experience
Must pass EVM Assessment within 60 days of moving into role
Must receive CAM certification within 6 months of becoming MPM
PLEASE NOTE:
Preferably, you should also have these desired skills:
OLDP experience alone does not qualify an employee for an MPM
Green Belt Certified or equivalent is a "plus"
Fiber Optic background
Strong Operation Engineering/Manufacturing background
Able to utilize program management skills
Understand MRP and planning / scheduling
Able to status and understand earned value data
Utilize either mfg. engineering, M.E. skills for technical decisions / discussions
Run proposal efforts for Production Operations
Program Management or Management experienced desired

- Applicants selected must be able to successfully pass a background investigation and drug test.
- Additionally, any roles requiring Department of Defense Security Clearances will require US Citizenship.
