We are currently seeking a Production Maintenance Supervisor to lead our skilled trades (Millwrights, Electricians, Plumber/Steamfitter and HVACR) in the maintenance activities for our Springfield Assembly Plant.
PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT POSITION. This offers a 6% shift differential for working the off-shift (second or third shift) and overtime (over 45 hours in a week) is compensated for.Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 3 years of production maintenance experience
OR
  • Master's degree
  • At least 1 year of production maintenance experience
OR
  • At least 5 years of production maintenance experience
Additional Requirements:
  • Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with production maintenance planning strongly desired
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) INFOR highly desired but not required
  • Supervising a represented workforce in the skilled trades (Millwright, Electrician, Plumber/Steamfitter and Industrial HVACR)
  • Understanding of automated systems and required maintenance activities
  • Understanding of robotics and related programmable automation
  • Understanding of preventative maintenance systems
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and AutoCAD
  • Demonstrated analytical, planning and organizational skills
